A rare find!

This 1948 Jesse French 45" studio piano features an art deco case design
with matching bench.  Refinished in 2005, it is in great condition in satin
walnut.

The unique design is highlighted by the matching bench and beautiful
tapestry above the pedals.  This serves not only as a classic furniture
touch, but also aids to further expand the tone of the piano by allowing the
sound to flow through cloth rather than being trapped behind a solid wood
front panel.

This piano has had very kind treatment over the years and was recently
gone through by a licensed piano technician.  As you can see by the
photos, the hammers, felts, mutes, tuning pins, etc., are all in excellent
condition and show minimal wear.  The soundboard is also in excellent
condition showing no signs of cracks or pressure ridges.

Based on the tuning dates (written in pencil on the plate) and technician
notations, this piano appears to have spent its entire life in the pacific
northwest.

Finished in beautiful satin walnut, this piano can be featured in most any
living room as its classic lines and finish stand on their own.

If you live locally - come audition it while it's here - it won't last long! These
are the types of pianos that rarely come along and, unfortunately, we
generally see them going to discriminating buyers outside of Oregon.
